1. How did your passion for trapshooting begin?

My keenness for shooting was handed down by my grandfather, who has always showed-off fondness for this discipline. His contagious passion has also affected, besides me, my brother and my cousin, being shooters as well. It's in the DNA of our family.

2. How did you realize that trapshooting was your discipline?

To be honest I am not sure of the reason why I chose trapshooting and how the spark triggerd, anyway from the beginning I felt a real boost in this direction. Moreover, I quite simply wasn’t eager to practise skeet shooting in my younger years.

3. What was your most exciting victory?

Undoubtedly it was my victory at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in 2008, I had been training hard in order to achieve this result and when it finally all came true, I was on cloud nine. The other deep satisfaction I can remember with pleasure is the 125/125 world record set in 2006.

4. What’s your way to concentrate?

I listen to music and I don't talk much. I perform my pre-competition training routine trying to prepare myself in the best way, I have no particular practice.

5. To what extent are the Gemini choke tubes essential for the success of your sporting achievements?

Choke tube are truly essential for a shooter, the conditions are different on any shooting field, this is why it is fundamental to have the chance to try out the models depending on the external conditions. I am glad I am given the opportunity to deal with Giovanni in a plain way (ed. Winshoot founder, manufacturer of Gemini chokes), he is extremely competent, we can discuss any detail together and make the best suited decisions. I also take delight in evaluating his new items, it's great to work with him and with Gemini.

6. What’s their strong point in your opinion?

I believe that the flexibility and their "forward-looking conception" are the real plus in this sport.

7. What weapon do you use and what choke tube do you prefer?

The best shotgun for Trapshooting is the one by Perazzi, I’m currently using the latest model, i.e. the High Tech 3 and I am really satisfied with its performance. Since last April I have furthermore been testing the titanium Gemini chokes and truth be told they are simply fantastic. Thanks to them I won the European Games and got the quota place for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

8. What advice would you give to a young person approaching this sport?

I hold that any shooter must first of all be persevering, it is a complicated sport, especially at the beginning. As a matter of fact we shall collect more poor results than achievements.

9. Your latest sporting achievements and next endeavours we can follow?

I lately won bronze at the Grand Prix of Qatar. I attained a quota placement to compete at the Olympics so I want to train in the best way for Tokyo 2020.

Gemini chokes can be combined with essentially any type of shotgun, they are excellent products, they can be easily promoted and meet customer fulfilment. In addition I stay very often in Italy, we have established an excellent relationship.

Within the Czech Republic market they are still very new products, but we are doing our best so as to advertise them and make them known in detail. Gemini is a landmark in the world of chokes and I deem that our customers have understood it.
